How to Enable or Disable Location

Location for Restaurant Reviews & Ratings

Flavorist uses your location to help you discover and share restaurant experiences around you.

Why Location is Needed

Location helps you to:

• Find restaurants near you
• Share reviews of places you visited
• Show accurate restaurant details
• Help others discover good restaurants nearby

Example

If you visit a restaurant with your friends, you can:

• Add a review
• Give a rating
• Share your experience

This helps others know:

“This is a good restaurant, you can try it!”

How to Enable Location

Android

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Location and turn it ON
3. Go to Apps → Flavorist
4. Tap Permissions → Location
5. Select Allow while using the app

iPhone (iOS)

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Flavorist
3. Tap Location
4. Select While Using the App

How to Disable Location

Android

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Location and turn it OFF

OR

1. Go to Apps → Flavorist
2. Tap Permissions → Location
3. Select Don’t allow

iPhone (iOS)

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Flavorist
3. Tap Location
4. Select Never

Important

• If location is OFF, nearby restaurants may not be shown
• Your reviews may not be linked to the correct place
• Discovering local recommendations will be limited
